The Welcome Party

Maureen and Major began their Costa Rica wedding weekend with a vibrant welcome party filled with bold florals, warm lighting, live music, and all of their favorite people. It was the perfect way to welcome everyone to Costa Rica and set the tone for a destination wedding weekend full of color, energy, and meaningful moments.

A Rainforest Wedding in Costa Rica

Rainforest weddings have their own rhythm. The light changes quickly, weather can become part of the story, and the surrounding landscape brings a completely different feeling to the photographs.. Rather than trying to make everything perfect for the camera, I photographed Maureen and Major's wedding as it naturally unfolded, combining documentary moments with intentional portraits and details captured throughout the day on digital and film. The result is exactly what I hope a wedding gallery becomes: not just a record of what everything looked like, but a way to return to the people, atmosphere, and feeling of being there.
