My love for photography began with the family albums my mom kept of my siblings and me growing up. They were filled with ordinary moments, nothing carefully posed or planned. Just little pieces of our lives, captured as they happened.

Looking through those albums years later, I realized how much those photographs meant to me. They brought back memories, familiar faces, and moments I might have otherwise forgotten. I loved how something so simple could become so meaningful with time.

I think that's a big part of why I became a wedding photographer.

A wedding is one of those rare days when so many of the people you love come together. A day you've looked forward to for years, filled with people, conversations, and moments that may never happen quite the same way again. I want to photograph all the beauty you've thoughtfully planned, but also the little things that happen naturally, often when no one is paying attention to the camera.

For the past 12 years, I've had the privilege of photographing weddings throughout Costa Rica. My approach is relaxed and observant, giving people room to be themselves while paying close attention to the light, the setting, and everything that makes each celebration unique.

I'm based in La Fortuna, where outside of weddings you'll usually find me spending time with my family or somewhere in the mountains, often with a film camera nearby. I still love documenting the ordinary moments of my own life, knowing how much they may mean someday.

When I think about the photographs I want to create for my couples, I often think back to those albums my mom kept. I hope that years from now, your photographs will bring you that same feeling. That you'll see more than how beautiful your wedding was. You'll remember the people, the moments, and what it felt like to be there.
